To fulfill “Combine learning and practice” and “Learn from practice” teaching concepts, Department of Advertising and Strategic Marketing (ADSM) established two internship media center. Junior students need to intern one year of media practice courses. We will distribute students to different center based on their interest and talent. The centers are Integrated Marketing Communications Center (IMCC) and Brand Lab (BL). The two centers are managed, planned and run by ADSM office.
Media center is conducted as corporate governance. There are four departments and eight sections of the structure. The followings are the four departments: Administration Department, Strategic Planning Department, Operation Department and Marketing Department. The followings are the eight sections: Purchase & Maintenance Section, Finance Section, Creativity Section, Planning and Management Section, Administration Section, Service Section, Activity Promotion Section and PR Media Section.
Integrated Marketing Communications Center (IMCC)
IMCC was established in 2000 and the first internship media center in school. Our goal is to assist School of Communication in cultivating talents of PR activity and management. Through the interaction with industrial circles, governmental circles and academic circles and the process of planning different projects, students can further their ability of solving PR crisis and problems.
Brand Lab (BL)
To meet the era of digital technology and enhance the development of ADSM, beside IMCC, we establish our second internship media center in 2015—Brand Lab (BL).
Our goal is to cultivate talents of brand designing and marketing. We teach students create market output values by creativity and marketing and discuss humanism quality and cultural creativity of aesthetic economy through design. We hope students can link with employment market with advantages of competition.
